Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club's track is located inside the harness racing track of the Addington Raceway. Office block and kennels are located adjacent to the Pavilion stand at the northern end of the track complex.

The Addington Track is a well banked loam surface which provides for exciting and safe races.

The club was incorporated in 1948 and moved to its current location at Addington Raceway in 1997. Last season the club ran 820 races with 6462 starters which produced betting turnover of almost $27 million with stake money paid to winning connections of over $1.3million.
